Presentation Overview:
The presentation will cover an overview of PaR Systems and examples of the
types of projects that are developed at PaR - focusing on the Aerospace and
Life Science business segments. PaR’s project management process will be
covered along with how systems engineering concepts are (and are not)
applied.
The presentation will be followed with a tour of PaR’s new Shoreview
facilities and manufacturing space. There will be several interesting
machines on the shop floor.
About PaR Systems:
PaR Systems is a custom engineering and manufacturing company based in
Shoreview, MN. with engineering offices in Shoreview, Seattle, Brunswick GA;
Iron Mountain MI, and Fort Worth TX. Manufacturing facilities are in
Shoreview and Brunswick. PaR designs and builds custom robotic systems for
the industrial automation and defense systems markets.
About the speaker:
Steven Siegel holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Microbiology from the
University of Michigan and an MS in Management of Technology degree from the
University of Minnesota. Prior to joining PaR he worked for Unisys
Corporation on the design of a scalar vector scientific processor. He joined
PaR Systems in 1987 and has worked in both the software and controls
engineering departments. He has made significant contributions as a Project
Manager and Program Manager and is currently the Engineering Director
responsible for the Engineering group at Shoreview, coordinating multisite
engineering efforts, and engineering process development for all PaR
engineering offices.

• Go 0.3 mile and Turn left (east) onto County Road E West
• This is across from the fire station and before the railroad tracks.
• PaR Systems is the second left turn after you enter county Road E.
• Find a place in the parking lot and come to the main entrance.
