About the Tour:
Cypress (Fab IV)
Cypress’s newest wafer fabrication plant (1995) and
first 8-inch facility, Fab IV produces Cypress’s SRAM products (including
specialty memories) at 0.35- and 0.25-micron line widths. 400 employees.
Clean room space: 64,000 sq. ft.
This location also houses a Cypress Design Center which
does research and development in the area of process development.
We will tour the entire facility, including both the
design center and fabrication areas. We will have to "suit up" for the
clean room tour. Cypress recommends that you do not wear a dress or
make-up.

2401 East 86th Street, Bloomington, MN 55425. Please arrive
a little before 10:00am and ask for Royce Richter.
