About the Topic/ Outline:
Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) 2007
Project and Portfolio Management are the disciplines of not only doing
projects right but doing the right projects. We will discuss how the new
version of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) enables both
project and portfolio management. We will cover the new architecture of the
2007 version of this solution and introduce ways that this architecture
enhances ease of entry into EPM and custom solutions complete with work-flow
that address business problems. We will wrap-up with a demonstration of a
number of new product features that enhance project management (Microsoft
Project), Resource Management, and Portfolio Management.
Bio:
Brandon Thornton is the Chief Operations Officer for Milestone Consulting
Group, Inc. a regional expert solution provider in Enterprise Project
Management solutions. Brandon has provided consulting on the field of
Enterprise Project Management to numerous companies and organizations
including: 3M, Pacific Life, AEGON, General Mills, Franklin Templeton, and
numerous others. Brandon has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State
University and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Solutions
Developer. He has been asked to speak at numerous conferences and events
including Project World, Microsoft TechEd in the United States and Europe,
the Microsoft Project Technical Briefing, numerous Microsoft launch events,
etc. Brandon has a strong passion for engineering and a great deal of
experience with IT organizations.

turn west 1/2 block into General Dynamics' parking lot. Enter front entrance
