Presentation Overview:
Learn how Hill Librarians help small business owners who would do some homework to grow their businesses. Through the physical Library, its free sites, and its HillSearch membership, owners find answers in the areas of industry research, competitive research, consumer research, operational best practices, and marketing and sales prep for business development, including creating prospect lists.

About the speaker:
Jim Poole is the Membership Development Manager at the James J. Hill Reference Library and is responsible to the thousands of entrepreneurs who annually visit the Library in person or tens of thousands online to use its resources to grow their businesses. He manages the Library’s SBDC program which provides specialized business planning intelligence to Small Business Development Centers’ Counselors in over 40 States. And he brings business owners to our Librarians so they can find answers to their questions about industry trends, competitors, consumers, operations, and sales prospecting.
