About the Topic/ Outline:
How to Effectively Manage the Difficult Employee While Avoiding Liability
Problem employees can lead to missed deadlines, projects running over
budget, increased turnover and even litigation. It is critical for you, as
an engineering manager, to understand the basic employment law principles
involved in dealing with issues like poor performance, a bad attitude,
tardiness and absenteeism.
This dynamic, interactive presentation uses real-world examples to explain
how to deal with difficult employees, including how give effective
performance reviews, discipline a problem employee, and when and how to
appropriately terminate.
