About the Topic:
We
have all been reading about the accelerating trend toward offshore
outsourcing in the area of information technology (including software and
product development).
Join the EMS for a presentation on the advantages and the risks of
offshore development, as well as insight into what it takes to make
offshore development work.
Whether you are contemplating offshore development soon or just
want to learn more about the industry, this should be a good introduction
to the world of offshore development.
About the Speaker:
Ashish
Gadnis is the President of Fourth Generation Incorporated, a Twin-Cities
based "Business Centric Technology" firm that partners with its
clients to:

and implement a Business Architecture that aligns with technology

and implement high-end Application Architecture road mapping that has
a trace to the client's go-to-market and business strategy

Ashish
earned a BS in Electronics Engineering from the University of Bombay,
India, and a MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University
of Minnesota. With 15 years of IT-related experience in Asia, South
America and the United States, Ashish has brought his innovative IT and
management skills to several companies, including PLATO Inc., UnitedHealth
Group, Personnel Decisions International, TIES Inc., Colonial Management,
Unisys de Columbia, Tata Systems, Data General and DuPont India.
He has significant experience managing large-scale offshore
software and product development teams with application experience in CRM,
call centers, ERP, human resources, financial instruments, health care
insurance and software package integration.
