The Twin Cities Chapter pursues the goals of the IEEE Management Society at the local
level by:
- Hosting monthly
presentations on topics of current interest,
- Hosting joint events in
field of project management with many professional,
commercial organizations, and institutes.
- Hosting evening,
half-day, or full-day seminars on topics of current
interest.
These
events, which are open to all members of the community, are
intended to help one keep up to date on both current trends in
Engineering Management in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area.
Other
important activities include:
- Recognition of local
members through nomination for advancement in IEEE
membership grade and nomination for IEEE technical and
service
- Training and education
for or transition to the professional discipline of
engineering management, entrepreneurship and the
socioeconomic impacts of engineering and technology
management on society
